This two layered bojagi is made with whip stitches from yangdan fabric with peony patterns, freely combining both nostalgic Korean colors and my favorite colors, as well.

Shortly after childbirth, I worked on this little by little every day while my daughter was taking a nap. This bojagi reminds me of the great happiness of having a lovely daughter, the joy of becoming a mother, and the challenges of my first childbirth abroad.

I think white bojagi are simple yet have a distinct presence and beauty. This white one layered bojagi is made from mosi fabric with the flat felled seam technique.

Happiness

I made this bojagi by joining together small leftover fabrics. I am glad that, this way, even fabrics too small for other purposes can be made into bojagi. Doing so is cherishing what I have and makes me feel grateful.

As trees outside began to green, I was unconsciously reaching for the mosi fabric. I made this bojagi surrounded by the refreshing air of Switzerland in early summer.

These are traditional flower pin cushions made with whip stitches. I made them while imagining plum flowers. To prevent needles from rusting, wool is put inside.

This is a bojagi with a string to wrap a gift. I used yangdan fabric and made a long string in order to accommodate various gift sizes.

Lotus leaf covering bojagi is made with pinch stitches and it is a non-patchwork bojagi. It is used to cover items.

This is yeouijumun, a traditional pattern known to grant wishes. I combined oksa and sukgosa fabrics and mixed different shades of pink.
